Móbica Prado Norte
Respecting the concept of the previous stores, this new Mobica branch – located in Prado Norte, in the Lomas de Chapultepec – is made with simple, sober and avant-garde spaces, which do not lose the warmth that a furniture and accessories store for the home requires. home. On the outside, the store has a great impact, since its objective is to stand out from the surroundings and invite customers to discover its interior.
The store has two levels. On the main façade, a display case was placed at the level of the main entrance that leads directly to the exhibition and sales area. In the center of this space are four columns that frame the vertical circulation of the building, connecting the two levels. The selected construction system allowed for generous heights and was also completed in only four months.
On the upper floor, a C-shaped element stands out, which is accessed through metal stairs that seem to be fitted into it, giving the impression that the entire volume is suspended. Its objective is to be a space where all the creativity of the store is concentrated, as well as seasonal promotions and the best excuse for customers to see the new products on each visit.
For interior lighting, special lamps inspired by a tree were designed. The center serves as the trunk and is the source of light and four limbs emerge from it that represent the branches. In the exterior lighting, the display case has a system that makes it stand out and give the impression that it floats. A modular system was installed at the top of the façade that gives a pleasant effect of movement.
